Roaring Brook Viaduct

As seen from the abandoned Erie Jessup Branch Roaring Brook Viaduct, an excursion from Steamtown passes underneath on the former Lackawanna mainline built through the Poconos. The Erie built this bridge in 1895 and it spans the valley with its length of 545 feet. Locally, this bridge is referred to the 100-foot Bridge in reference to its height over the Roaring Brook below.
