The Houghton Sulky Co.

Built in 1845, this structure was part of the Centenary Methodist Episcopal Church until Marion’s rail lines were built, when it quickly became not suitable for a quiet church service. The Huber Manufacturing Company took over the space until 1904 when the Houghton Sulky Co. moved in and occupied the space until 2007 when the company was absorbed and then abandoned the structure.
