The Conduit

Enroute to Newark Broad Street Station, a New Jersey Transit commuter train speeds along the alignment laid by the Lackawanna's predessor, the Morris and Essex Railroad, back in 1838. While the railroad has modernized through the years, today's commuting experience would be familiar to a traveler of 1840.
